Rangers centre-back Jess Pegram says the club have "big ambitions" to reel in SWPL leaders Glasgow City who they meet on the final day of the season.
The split begins on Sunday as Rangers travel to Hearts in the first of 10 rounds of games that will decide which team lifts the trophy in May.
City are currently five points clear at the top, with Rangers and Celtic joint in second and third, one point ahead of Hearts.
"We're at Rangers, we're a very successful club with big ambitions so we're definitely looking forward to it," 18-year-old Pegram, who is on loan from English outfit Brighton, said about the run-in.
"We know it's going to be competitive but we're in good position as a team and we're looking forward to it.
"That's the special thing about the Scottish women's league; how close it is, how competitive it is and the fact you go into a split where you're playing great teams every week. It's a great opportunity.
"I think the Scottish league is definitely underrated. It's an amazing league to be part of and the split is a great opportunity, especially for young players trying to get minutes in senior football that you might not be getting in the English League."
Rangers have faced City twice already this season, losing 1-0 in September and coming from behind to snatch a 1-1 draw earlier this year.
The pair will face off in the League Cup final next month in between their two league meetings.
"We've got Glasgow City a few more times and on the final day as well," Pegram added.
"We've been unlucky against them this season but we're definitely looking forward to the opportunity."
