💰🔴⚪️ Oscar Mayo: “Atlético Madrid, this year, is going to generate a little more than €500m in revenue. Two seasons ago, it did not even reach €390m. We have grown by around €110 million in barely two years, which honestly is a very, very large rate.
How? It’s very simple because it’s four slices of 25%, okay? 25% is stadium operations (ticketing, VIP, events, food and beverage). 25% is commercial, which is basically sponsorships, summer tours, and stores and retail. 25% is UEFA, the Champions League. And 25% is La Liga. Those two have remained more or less stable. They are expected to grow starting next year with the new television rights deals for both La Liga and the Champions League. The two that have grown significantly over the last two years are those that depend directly on the club, which are commercial (sponsorships) and stadium operations.”
