Latest Lewandowski transfer updates
Milan are interested in signing Barcelona star Lewandowski as a free agent in the summer as the striker’s contract runs out at the end of the season.
Previous reports in Italy claimed that talks between the Rossoneri and Lewa’s entourage have already begun, and according to Gazzetta, the Diavoli’s hopes are alive despite the striker’s high wages.
Lewandowski, in fact, is reportedly looking for a new challenge at a major European club, which is exactly what the Rossoneri can offer him.
Milan signed Niclas Fullkrug on loan with an option to buy from West Ham in the January window, but the German striker has rarely been a starter under Massimiliano Allegri, scoring just one goal in 15 appearances.
Sport.es reported in March that Barcelona are eager to offer Lewandowski a one-year deal, but the Poland international remains uncertain about his future at the club.
