Inter confirm Lautaro Martinez has picked up a ‘muscle strain in the soleus muscle of his left leg’, and, according to reports in Italy, the Argentine will be forced to the sidelines for two weeks.
Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has suffered a new injury that will sideline him for two weeks.
The Nerazzurri confirmed the Argentine’s injury in an officialstatement: “Lautaro Martinez underwent clinical and instrumental examinations today at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano,” the Serie A table leaders said.
“The tests revealed a mild muscle strain in the soleus muscle of his left leg. The Argentine striker’s condition will be reassessed in the coming days.”
According to Sky Sport Italia, Lautaro will remain out of action for at least two weeks.
