Harrogate Town have signed Wigan Athletic midfielder Tobias Brenan on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 19-year-old joined the Latics a year ago following a trial, after leaving Oxford United, where he captained the Under-18s side.
Brenan was drafted into the Wigan first-team squad after impressing manager Ryan Lowe in pre-season friendlies, made his senior debut on the opening day of the season, and signed a three-year deal in October.
He has played five times in the league for the Latics this season as well as making six appearances in the cup competitions.
Harrogate manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York: "He's energetic, puts himself about and is up for the challenge here."
