Guernsey FC consolidated third place in the Southern Combination Premier Division with a 3-0 win over Eastbourne United.
Fin Patterson's third goal of the season gave the Green Lions a perfect start as he cut in from the right and blasted in from distance after six minutes.
Ross Allen and Jacob Fallaize both went close before the break while Allen forced an excellent block from a visiting defender 12 minutes after the interval.
Will Fazakerley replaced Allen for the final 30 minutes and with one of his first touches made it 2-0 as he pounced on a loose ball from a corner.
Fin Du Port completed the win with a powerful strike in the 86th minute.
The Green Lions' seventh win in eight games ensured the nine-point gap to second-placed Steyning Town did not increase, keeping their hopes of catching their rivals alive.
