Manchester City locked horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian club made a bright start to the game, but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Nico O’Reilly scored the opener for the visitors in the 51st minute before Marc Guehi doubled his team’s advantage just six minutes later. Jeremy Doku killed the game off in the 68th minute as Pep Guardiola’s men earned an impressive 3-0 win away from home.

RB: Matheus Nunes – 7.5/10
Nunes earned possession back twice and engineered some inviting chances in the final third.
CB: Abdukodir Khusanov – 7/10
He dealt with the danger when needed and was good on the ball.
CB: Marc Guehi – 9/10
Guehi gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the pitch and managed to score in the 57th minute.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 8/10
He came back to defend when needed and managed to score the all-important opener in the 63rd minute.
CM: Rodri – 7/10
Rodri anchored the midfield well but lacked quality inside the opponent’s half.
CM: Bernardo Silva – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
RW: Antoine Semenyo – 7.5/10
Semenyo was a constant menace in the final third, but there was no goal for him.
CAM: Rayan Cherki – 8.5/10
He was a real menace up top and has got a couple of assists to show for his efforts.
LW: Jeremy Doku – 7.5/10
Doku caught the eye at times on the left wing and managed to find the back of the net in the 68th minute.
ST: Erling Haaland – 7/10
He was a real handful for the opposition defenders, but failed to register a goal.
