🇦🇷❤️‍🩹 Giuliano Simeone on IG: “When I was a kid, I used to watch you play and dreamed that one day I could share a field with you.
Life gave me so much more than I could have imagined: wearing the national team jersey, sharing a locker room with you, and playing in a World Cup by your side.
Thank you, Leo. For everything you did for our country, for everything you made us feel, and for being an inspiration to so many of us since we were kids.
Today, the player we all admire says goodbye to the national team. But for me, it’s also the farewell of the idol I looked up to as a kid and whom I was lucky enough to one day have by my side.
You are eternal. ENDLESS THANKS, Leo.”
