Curtis Jones vs Fulham
Jones got a rare Premier League start – his 12th of the season – on Saturday as Arne Slot rotated his team ahead of the second leg vs Paris Saint-Germain. He enjoyed a great first-half, too, as he played a massive role in Liverpool’s control.
In fact, that control faded after he went off at half-time. That’s something Jones has consistently brought to Liverpool as their most-involved midfielder.
However, that hasn’t translated into minutes – Jones has played under half the available minutes across the Premier League this season. It’s led to plenty of speculation that he could be leaving the club in the summer.
A move to Inter in January was reported but ultimately came to nothing. We expect they’ll be back in the summer, though, as Jones’s future will, at some point, take centre stage.
