Darren Fletcher: “Shea Lacey’s yellow card was ridiculous compared to the fouls we had against us all game which the lad then makes a mistake and is sent off. For me, it’s poor refereeing and I’ll take the yellow card, I can handle that.
He’s disappointed because he cares and he understands. He’ll learn from it but there’s no doubt about his talent and it’s a steep learning curve today.
But we believe in Shea, he’s one of our most exciting young prospects. I’m sure he’ll have a chance to make amends for that in the future.”
