Colour of the Stands: Visuals and vibes from around the RSL

The 2025-26 Roshn Saudi League has not been purely a celebration of footballing excellence, but of people, too.

Across 13 cities, from the capital to the coasts and north to south, each matchday is a living expression of identity, pride and belonging. From the fanaticism of Jeddah to the tribal rivalries of Riyadh, Saudi Arabian football culture pulses with colour and noise.

The league’s geographic diversity is mirrored in its stands: different accents, traditions, and styles of celebration, united by a love for their team.

However, this devotion is not reserved for the so-called traditional giants; evidenced throughout all our host cities in this season’s RSL, support runs deep.

In Al Ahsa, for example, Al Fateh fans continue to fill their compact home during differing fortunes from last year to this, transforming the stadium into one of the division’s most intense arenas.

It’s a reminder that passion here is authentic – carried through both triumph and adversity.

In Buraidah, Wolves Park has roared on Al Taawoun as they built an early-but-unexpected title challenge. Pericles Chamusca’s side are one of four from the Qassim region competing in the RSL in the same season, which in itself is unprecedented.

Meanwhile, on the East Coast, local bragging rights were at stake recently when Al Qadsiah hosted Al Ettifaq in the rescheduled Matchweek 10, the season’s first Eastern Derby.

So, here we celebrate the people whose celebrations make the RSL what it is, from their vociferous support to those unforgettable tifos (click the link at the bottom for a separate gallery).
