🧠🇬🇭 Antoine Semenyo on Enzo Maresca:
“From day one he’s got his ideas to us. I reported a little later than some and had individual meetings with him on how he wants to set up, how he wants to play, his wide men, just overall as a team. It’s been good so far.
“His ideas are great – quite similar to Pep [Guardiola]. If you watched the [Inter] game, you would’ve seen a couple play out and it was good. I’m looking forward to it. When he got appointed, that was the first thing I thought about because when I’ve played Chelsea when he was there, his wide men were always high, wide, quite free. That was one thing that excited me most when he got appointed – it’s exciting as a winger.
“I get to have one-vs-ones most of the game and I’m looking forward to it. Some games Pep wanted me wide, some he wanted me inside a little more. It was just depending on opposition. But Enzo is just: out wide, when you get the ball, create opportunities. It’s music to my ears. It’s exciting…” [via spbajko]
