Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee alongside two of the most iconic figures in U.S. soccer as official Community Ambassadors to help ensure FIFA World Cup 2026™ leaves a lasting impact on LA.
The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee, led by the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC), is excited to announce that beloved actor, producer, writer and comedian, Will Ferrell, will serve as a Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Community Ambassador for this once-in-a-generation event. He joins alongside Snoop Dogg, Cobi Jones, Eva Longoria, Luka Dončić, Magic Johnson, and recently announced global soccer icons Mia Hamm and Julie Foudy, as part of a distinguished community of ambassadors to help elevate Los Angeles’ role as a host city for FIFA World Cup 2026™.
As one of the most universally recognized actors and comedians, Ferrell will support the Host Committee’s efforts to welcome national and international visitors to experience Los Angeles during FIFA World Cup 2026™ and make sure everyone in the community has an opportunity to take part in the festivities. His global fanbase will bring attention to the Los Angeles region as a host city, helping to bridge communities and engage diverse audiences from sports fans to familes. With strong ties to the community as a Southern California native and longtime Los Angeles resident, he will help ensure the tournament leaves a lasting legacy for both locals and visitors alike.
