🚨 It hasn’t been talked about much, but Japan goalkeeper Zion Suzuki had an outstanding World Cup, producing a superb display against Brazil with eight saves. 😍🇯🇵
Born in the United States to a Ghanaian father and a Japanese mother, Suzuki grew up in Japan but was subjected to severe criticism and even racist abuse after the Asian Cup. 😢
At this World Cup, he answered his critics in the best possible way — with his performances on the pitch. 👏
With all respect to Parma, Suzuki surely won’t be there for long. He looks destined for a big move this summer.
