Italiano was formally announced today as the new coach of Besiktas, and curiously he is being replaced on the Bologna bench by ex-Fenerbahce boss Domenico Tedesco.
Fenerbahce want Conte
The future is up in the air for Fenerbahce, as they are heading into a massive presidential election, with Hakan Safi and Aziz Yildirim making big promises.
According to reports in Turkiye and Italy, Safi has held negotiations with former Napoli coach Conte and lined him up for the job.
Safi is accompanied by Milan legend Paolo Maldini, who would be technical director, and already announced an agreement with Olympique Marseille winger Mason Greenwood.
He is also working on deals for Robert Lewandowski and approached Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, despite the player being a known fan of rivals Galatasaray.
