Will Ferguson leave Bologna this summer?
His agent already said in May that Ferguson was open to moving to the Premier League, although he hadnot pushed to leave the Stadio Dall’Ara.
One month later, the situation has not changed much: Ferguson is still considering a move to England but is not desperate to leave his club.
According to the report, new Bologna coach Domenico Tedesco is eager to rely heavily on Ferguson for the 2026-27 campaign, using him in a more advanced position than his prior role during Vincenzo Italiano’s two-year tenure.
TMW reports that Ferguson recently held talks with Bologna, but the two parties will discuss the future again in July, when the 26-year-old returns from the World Cup and holidays.
Ferguson has a contract with Bologna until June 2028, with an option for an additional season, placing the club in a strong position for negotiations.
According to the report, the Rossoblu won’t consider offers below €25m for the Scottish midfielder this summer.
