Hojlund has 85m Napoli release clause
The total transfer package for the Partenopei was €50m, as the Serie A giants had paid €6m for the striker’s one-season loan deal last summer plus €44m to make his move permanent after qualification for the Champions League.
According to several Italian sources, including Gazzetta, Hojlund will have an €85m release clause in his contract, but it can only be activated from next summer.
Hojlund has signed a contract until June 2030 with an option for a further campaign.
During his first season at the Stadio Maradona, Hojlund scored 16 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions, collecting over 3,600 minutes on the pitch.
He had previously spent three years at Manchester United, from 2023 to 2026, netting 26 times in 95 matches.
