Rennes are reportedly lining up a €10m offer for versatile Venezia right-back Antoine Hainaut, who just helped the club to promotion into Serie A.

The 24-year-old came to Italian football from US Boulogne in January 2022 with a €300,000 transfer to Parma.
He was then sold to Venezia last summer for just €550,000 and flourished in Serie B, where he helped the Lagunari to promotion by topping the table.
Perfect season for Hainaut at Venezia
Hainaut contributed five goals and six assists in 37 Serie B games this season, playing in a variety of roles from right-back to central defence and midfield.
His value on the transfer market has now sky-rocketed and Footmercato in France report that Rennes are eager to bring him back to his homeland.
It is even suggested the offer could reach €10m, which would be very hard for Venezia to resist, even after promotion to the top flight.
His current contract with the Stadio Penzo side runs to June 2028.
