Roma have mathematically secured at least a place in the Europa League following Inter’s Coppa Italia Final victory over Lazio, as reported by Filippo Biafora on X.
If the Biancocelesti had won, they would have grabbed a Europa League spot, meaning that only the fifth-placed in Serie A would play the same competition next season, and the sixth would drop to the Conference League.
However, with Inter winning the Coppa Italia, the fifth and sixth-placed teams will play in the Europa League in 2026-27, and the seventh-placed team will go to the Conference League.
Roma are currently fifth in the Serie A table, but level on 67 points with fourth-placed Milan.
Como follow the Giallorossi and Rossoneri with 65 points and two games remaining.
Malen has had a tremendous impact at Roma, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists in 16 Serie A matches.
