Atalanta ‘will evaluate’ offers for Ederson

“As of today, we have no official offers, only potential expressions of interest,” Percassi told Sky Sport (via SOS Fanta) about Ederson’s possible summer transfer.

“Until the season comes to an end, it’s difficult for clubs to make moves. We will evaluate everything with great composure and calm at the appropriate time.”

Ederson, 26, is in his fourth season at Atalanta. He has scored three goals and provided two assists in 40 appearances across all competitions this season, and his contract at the Gewiss Stadium expires in June 2027.

According to reports in Italy, La Dea could agree to sell the Brazilian for circa €40m.

It’s been reported that Atalanta will hire ex-Juventus and Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli as their new sporting director, replacing Tony D’Amico next season.

However, Percassi denied that Atalanta have already reached an agreement with Giuntoli.

“Giuntoli is one of the best directors in Italian football who has gained experience in the lower leagues,” Percassi said.

“We’ll see what happens. I’m aware that many clubs have contacted Giuntoli; we’ll see if it’s a marriage we’ll make.”

Atalanta beat Milan 3-2 away on Sunday and sit seventh in the Serie A table.
