Cheltenham Town midfielder Ryan Broom has signed a new contract with the League Two club.

The Robins have not disclosed the length of the 29-year-old's agreement to extend his third spell at Whaddon Road.

Broom re-joined Cheltenham last summer after he left Fleetwood Town and has gone on to play 36 times in all competitions.

Broom previously spent two years at the club after first joining in 2018 and then had a further season-long spell in 2022.

"He's a wonderful character and a fantastic professional, you can't have enough of those in the squad," Cheltenham Town manager Steve Cotterill told the club website.

"He is settled at the club and just become a dad. His versatility is an important attribute and we look forward to seeing him in pre-season."
