Jan Ziolkowski can leave Roma by June 30th. The Polish defender hasn’t found much playing time during his first season in the capital.
Gian Piero Gasperini has given him a few chances, but the 2005-born defender’s on-field performances haven’t entirely convinced the manager.
The former Legia Warsaw player has played 21 games, including a header against Panathinaikos that allowed Roma to avoid the Europa League playoffs and advance directly to the round of 16.
Roma wants to avoid selling too many big names to comply with the settlement agreement with UEFA, while also earning the appropriate capital gains by June 30.
As reported by SiamoLaRoma.it, the rumor from recent weeks has been confirmed: the Giallorossi want to sell Jan Ziolkowski before the beginning of July.
The Roman club is seeking a buyer for the Pole. Roma values him at around €25 million: the goal is to sell him to avoid sacrificing at least one big name.
It remains to be seen whether the interest from several foreign clubs (one English and one French) can translate into an offer that meets the Giallorossi’s demands.
