Pedro has become one of the more dependable pieces in a Chelsea attack still searching for complete rhythm. His ability to operate as a central striker, drift between lines and knit moves together makes him valuable beyond raw numbers. In a squad that has too often felt overloaded with potential rather than certainty, he looks like a player worth protecting.
The interest in Goncalo Ramos also makes sense. Chelsea still need genuine competition at No.9, especially if Liam Delap’s adaptation continues to prove uneven. Ramos brings pedigree, Champions League experience and a proper goalscorer’s instinct, with 102 career goals pointing to a player who knows where the net is.
