Amid rumours of tensions, Mason Greenwood (24) is growing increasingly “disinterested” at Olympique de Marseille, as per a report from RMC Sport.

Whilst Greenwood remains third in the goalscorer standings in Ligue 1, behind Esteban Lepaul and Joaquín Panichelli, the Englishman has failed to score in his last six games. He was even omitted from the starting XI for the game against OGC Nice at the end of April. Whilst Habib Beye said that the striker was injured, Foot Mercato understands that tensions behind the scenes were the true reason for being dropped.

Greenwood is being heavily linked with an exit from Marseille this summer. And RMC Sport understands that the former Manchester United forward is already growing “disinterested”. The publication adds that he is no longer even masking this apparent disinterest.

With two games remaining in the Ligue 1 season, OM currently sit 7th in Ligue 1. They look set to fall short in their objective to qualify once again for the UEFA Champions League.
