Young, Thomas and Jude-Boyd among Cheltenham exits

Midfielder Luke Young, winger Jordan Thomas and defender Arkell Jude-Boyd are among nine players to leave Cheltenham Town this summer.

Defenders George Harmon and Cameron Walters, midfielders Scot Bennett and Tommy Backwell and forwards Josh Martin and Tom King have also been released following the end of the season.

Cheltenham, who finished 18th in League Two, have triggered options in the contracts of Robbie Cundy, George Nurse, Jonathan Tomkinson and James Wilson to retain them for next season.

Midfielder Ben Stevenson has signed a new deal to stay into 2026-27 while new contracts have been offered to Ryan Broom, George Miller, Harry Tustin and Freddy Willcox.

Former Wrexham captain Young, 33, joined the Robins in 2024 and has made 89 appearances over the past two campaigns, including playing in all but one league game this season.

Thomas, 24, has scored eight goals in 43 matches for Cheltenham this season and has surpassed 100 games in total for the club in his two-and-a-half campaigns at Whaddon Road.

Jude-Boyd, 23, has also been a regular through this season making 42 appearances in all competitions.
