Le Havre’s Kenny Quetant (19) is reportedly attracting interest from Werder Bremen ahead of the upcoming transfer window, according to Sky Sports.
After coming through the ranks at the Normandy club’s academy, the Paris-born player’s contract is set to expire next June. And whilst no deal has yet been agreed with Werder, negotiations for Quetant’s arrival this summer are at an advanced stage.
Having made his professional debut last December, the 19-year-old centre-forward has made 10 appearances in all competitions this season. Against Angers SCO in January, Quetant even scored his first Ligue 1 goal on his second appearance.
Already linked with a move to Germany in recent months, the Le Havre player could well find himself in the Bundesliga in the coming months, provided Werder manage to secure their survival. Currently 15th in the league, Die Werderaner are six points clear of VfL Wolfsburg, who sit 16th and face a relegation play-off, with two games remaining in the season.
