Bazoumana Touré (20) scored Hoffenheim’s second during Saturday’s 3-3 draw against VfB Stuttgart, taking the Ivorian’s tally to 16 goal contributions in 28 Bundesliga games this season.
Amid interest from the Premier League, Hoffenheim will demand a record fee for Touré, who has a contract until 2029, should he leave the Sinsheim club this summer. That means that Hoffenheim can expect to receive at least €43.5m, the fee Newcastle United paid to sign Joelinton in 2019.
Kicker information coincides with the fee, reporting that Hoffenheim hope to receive €40m plus future bonuses, which is entirely possible considering the young winger doesn’t have an exit clause.
Touré has scored four goals and provided 12 assists for Hoffenheim this season, as the Sinsheim club eye UEFA Champions League football for 2026/27 – Christian Ilzer’s charges currently occupy sixth, but are level with Bayer Leverkusen (4th) and Stuttgart (5th).
