FC Nantes’ Yassine Benhattab (23) is on the radar of EFL Championship sides Hull City and Blackburn Rovers, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Benhattab has spent the second half of this season on loan at Stade de Reims in Ligue 2. An electric player, he has struggled for ‘stats’ this season, scoring just once and failing to register an assist in 22 appearances in all competitions.
His loan at Reims includes a buy option worth €5m. However, there is interest growing in the 23-year-old winger, Foot Mercato understands. Les Stadistes may not be able to pull off the deal, should they fail to secure promotion back to Ligue 1. The club look set to compete in the play-offs.
There is interest from England in the form of Hull City, who are in the mix for promotion, and Blackburn Rovers. There is also interest from Hannover and Schalke in Germany. Benhattab’s deal at Nantes runs until 2028.
