According to today’s edition ofIl Corriere dello Sport, the former captain is reportedly considering the role of “Ambassador,” especially in light of Roma’s centenary, which will be celebrated next year.
Totti has yet to accept, but his comments on the Ranieri-Gasperini situation have not gone unnoticed.
The former Roma number 10 has spoken as a manager before even becoming one, repeatedly stressing that what really matters is “the good of Roma.”
His relationship with Gasperini is excellent, and the Piedmontese coach would be happy to welcome him back to Trigoria to plan for the coming season, and not just together.
Totti’s return is increasingly becoming a necessity, and fans are clamoring for the process to be speeded up.
