The biggest boost comes with Manu Koné back training fully with the squad, according to reports from AlfredoPedulla.com.
The French midfielder has recovered from a thigh injury that kept him out for around six weeks and is now pushing to return to the matchday squad. His comeback opens up the possibility of an immediate rotation option in midfield, with a potential “relay” role alongside Pisilli already being considered.
Roma latest: Pellegrini & Dovbyk unlikely to feature
There is less positive news regarding Lorenzo Pellegrini and Artem Dovbyk, who both trained separately from the group. Neither is expected to be risked for the Fiorentina game, with internal expectations pointing towards a return next week instead.
Elsewhere, Robinio Vaz was absent with authorised permission but is expected back in training tomorrow as normal.
Looking ahead to Monday, Gasperini is set to have almost a full squad available, with Koné the only major returnee from injury.
The likely attacking structure is also beginning to take shape again, with Roma expected to revive a front trio involving Soulé, Dybala and Malen for the first time in nearly 100 days. Wesley is set to continue providing width on the left flank.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are expected to line up in a 3-4-2-1 system with Svilar in goal and a back three of Mancini, Ndicka and Hermoso, although there is a small defensive selection doubt between Hermoso and Ghilardi. On the right side, Rensch and Tsimikas are competing for a starting spot.
Roma (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Hermoso; Rensch, Cristante, Koné, Wesley; Soulé, Pisilli; Malen.
Unavailable: Dovbyk, Ferguson, Pellegrini.
Fiorentina are also managing several absentees, including Kean and Parisi, as they prepare for the trip to the capital.
