With 20 goal contributions (12 goals, 8 assists) in 30 Bundesliga appearances in 2025/26, RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande is enjoying a breakout campaign.
Possessing explosive pace and neat dribbling, the Ivorian has seamlessly adapted to life in Germany, but his impressive numbers have caught the eye of Europe’s elite clubs. Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have both shown an interest in signing the 19-year-old, who has plundered 13 goals and provided nine assists in 33 appearances across all competitions this term.
What’s more, Leipzig are closing in on a return to European football after missing out completely this season. Should the Saxony club play in the UEFA Champions League next season, then Diomande just might remain at the club.
So much so that despite heightened interest, Sport Bild report that Diomande is prepared to extend his contract beyond 2030 if they do qualify for the UCL.
However, to caveat this, Sport Bild also note that if Leipzig receive an offer too good to turn down with the club needing to generate €100m from player sales this summer, then the Red Bull Arena outfit would be open to a sale.
