Hull City midfielder Eliot Matazo has suffered a fresh anterior cruciate ligament injury, which will keep him out for months.
Matazo got injured inside the first 10 minutes of Hull's loss at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
That was a first game since February 2025 for the Belgian, having suffered the same injury but to his left knee on that occasion.
The 24-year-old joined the Tigers from Monaco in last season's winter transfer window, but he has been limited to just six games for the club in that time.
With one match remaining of the Championship, Hull are outside the play-offs on goal difference from Wrexham.
