Serie A leaders Inter Milan are not under scrutiny from the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office amid the ongoing refereeing scandal

According to ANSA via FCInterNews, authorities have confirmed that the club is not being investigated.

Serie A is facing another major scandal, with numerous high-ranking officials under investigation for their roles in referee appointments.

Indeed, Gianluca Rocchi has had to resign from his role as refereeing chief, as the probe continues to cast a shadow over Italian football’s officiating system.

Furthermore, the case has also drawn in VAR supervisor Andrea Gervasoni and experienced referee Daniele Paterna.

Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office Clears Inter Milan Amid Raging Refereeing Scandal

Paterna has reportedly come under heavy scrutiny after providing false information to the Public Prosecutors’ Office.

In addition, VAR referees Rodolfo Di Vuolo and Luigi Nesca are part of the widening probe.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan chiefs Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio remain out of the case, with authorities confirming they have no involvement in the matter.

According to reputable sources close to the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office, “Inter Milan and its directors are not under investigation.”

Though the investigation continues to expand across Italy’s refereeing structure, the runaway Serie A leaders remain fully unconnected to the proceedings.
