Davide Frattesi will leave Inter Milan this summer, with Roma, Napoli and English clubs all competing for the Italy midfielder’s signature according to transfer expert Matteo Moretto.
Speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, via L’Interista, Moretto was unambiguous about Frattesi’s future.
“These will be his last months at Inter. He will leave in the summer. I don’t think there will be any surprises.”
According to Moretto, Frattesi has played just over 1000 minutes across all competitions this season.
Indeed, injuries have played a part. However, Moretto is clear, Frattesi never entered Cristian Chivu’s plans consistently.

Furthermore, Moretto recalled how close Frattesi came to leaving in January.
“Nottingham Forest had already booked flights for the player. Some pieces did not fit and the deal did not happen.”
The midfielder is now doing everything he can to contribute in the final weeks of the season.
However, his exit is already decided. Multiple clubs are gathering information.
“Two are Italian, Roma and Napoli, and then there is the English option,” Moretto confirmed. “For the type of characteristics he has, he is highly regarded in England.”
Therefore, Inter will cash in this summer on a player who never quite fulfilled his potential at the club after his arrival from Sassuolo.
