AC Milan are preparing to face Juventus on Sunday 26 April at 20:45 CEST at San Siro, on Matchday 34 of the Serie A season. A heavyweight clash that promises plenty of excitement, with the campaign approaching its decisive phase and every point becoming increasingly crucial. LATEST FROM MILANELLOIt has been some time since AC Milan last faced Juventus — the previous meeting came early in the first half of the season — and the sides have not met at San Siro since November 2024. Allegri’s squad put a difficult spell behind them with victory away to Verona, though the moment remains delicate. Napoli sit second, three points ahead, while Juventus are close behind in fourth, also three points back. The advantage over the chasing pack in the race for the Champions League places is encouraging but far from definitive. This is therefore a direct clash that cannot be underestimated — potentially the final major obstacle this season. It has been an intense week of work at Milanello. The squad is at full strength and no major changes are expected in the starting line-up. There are no suspensions, while Athekame, Fofana, Leão, Modrić and Saelemaekers are all one booking away from suspension.
“It’s always a brilliant fixture,” said Allegri on the eve of the game. “One of the most important meetings of the season. It’s not necessarily pivotal, but it’s a match that could allow us to take another step forward in this project. At this stage, results and points are what matter most.”
LATEST FROM JUVENTUSFrom mid-March onwards, Juventus have been the most in-form side in Serie A, collecting 13 points. Aside from a home draw against Sassuolo, the Bianconeri have put together a run of victories without conceding — from last weekend’s 2–0 win over Bologna (with goals from David and Thuram) to a 1–0 success against Udinese. Since the arrival of Spalletti in the dugout, Juventus have shifted gears, closing the gap to the top of the table and recently making what could prove a decisive move in the race to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League. The main attacking threat is Yıldız — even if not currently at his absolute best — who has bagged 10 goals and six assists this season. Perin, Cabal and Milik are unavailable.

He has refereed the Rossoneri six times in Serie A, most recently in November during the first leg of the derby, which they won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Pulisic.
