A few hours after making his departure from Roma official, Claudio Ranieri spoke to clarify the circumstances surrounding his termination of his relationship with the club.
The clarification follows the statement released this morning by Friedkin’s ownership, aimed at clarifying the nature of the decision that led to his departure.
According to Ranieri, the termination of his contract was the result of a decision made exclusively by the club.
The now-former Senior Advisor explained that he wanted to speak out of fairness towards the club’s environment and history. These are Claudio Ranieri’s words, released via ANSA: “The termination of my senior advisorship was a unilateral decision by the club. Out of a duty of transparency, clarity in our actions, loyalty to the truth of the facts, and love for the jersey that represents our second skin.”
