Serie A side Napoli signed Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese in the summer and then quickly loaned out to Nottingham Forest in January. Hope of earning something from his sale is now fading.
Lucca has one goal in his time at City Ground so far this season. That came on his debut but since then, the Italian has faded away and that has mainly been due to an injury.
Corriere dello Sport – via CalcioNapoli24, report that Napoli have already made a decision about Lucca. They are currently expecting him to return from Nottingham Forest in the summer, with his loan deal not reaping rewards and the Tricky Trees not expected to trigger their option to buy.
Beyond that, Napoli will also move the striker on once again, especially as he never impressed in Naples either. If anything, he was heavily criticised for a lot of his performances. Strangely enough though, he felt like a signing Antonio Conte wanted but was very quick to dismiss him.
