Jersey Bulls Women have all but secured the league title in their first season after a 4-0 win at Meadow Sports.

The islanders continued their run of winning every game they have played in their first season in English league football.

They are nine points clear at the top of the promotion group of South East Counties Women's Football League Surrey Division One after a 16th successive win.

The Bulls need one point from their final game at home to Milford and Witley on Sunday to seal the title – all of the sides below them can only draw level on points with the island side and would have to overcome Jersey's 27-goal advantage in goal difference.

Leah Morris gave Bulls a 19th-minute lead at Meadow Sports as she converted Holly Sundby's cross to take the islanders into the break 1-0 up.

Bulls had to wait until the 70th minute to extend their lead when Anita Tavares made it 2-0 before Sunday got a third a minute later.

The result was wrapped up in stoppage time when top scorer Tavares got her second to take her tally to 39 goals for the season.
