Plymouth Argyle boss Tom Cleverley says the pressure the club is feeling to reach the League One play-offs is "a privilege".

The Pilgrims currently sit ninth in the table, and four points off sixth-placed Stevenage, with four games to go.

Cleverley's side head to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, who have lost their last five matches.

"The reason you work through the academy system and throughout your whole career, sacrificing so much, is so you can be in situations with pressure," he said.

Plymouth have seen an upturn in form in recent months, having only lost four league matches in 2026.

In November, they were bottom of League One.

"If a situation has pressure then you're doing something right, especially if it's pressure to achieve something and not just to survive.

"We've worked all our lives to be in a situation like this, so we're privileged to be here."

He added that he believed the club needed to secure at least 10 points from the final fixtures to make the top six.

"Every game is a cup final now and we should embrace that and thrive off working in these high-pressure environments."
