Exeter City defender Ed James has signed a one-year contract extension with the club, with the option for an additional year.
The 21-year-old came up through the Grecians' academy before he made his first-team debut in October 2022 against Southampton's under-21 side in the EFL Trophy.
After a spell on loan to Chippenham Town and Torquay United at the start of the 2025-26 season, he returned to St James Park to start Exeter’s 3-0 league win against Doncaster Rovers on Easter Monday.
"It's been a tough season for me personally, but the last few months have gone well so I'm really happy to have signed a new deal," James told the club website.
