Arsenal entertained Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 17th minute when Eli Junior Kroupi found the back of the net. Viktor Gyokeres equalised for the North London club in the 35th minute from the penalty spot. The two sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Mikel Arteta’s men conceded their second goal in the 74th minute when Alex Scott got his name on the scoresheet. The match ended with Arsenal suffering a tough 2-1 loss at the Emirates.

LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly – 7/10
He had a tough game at times defensively, but made a few driving runs with the ball.
CM: Martin Zubimendi – 6/10
Zubimendi anchored the midfield well and was replaced in the 75th minute.
CM: Declan Rice – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.
RW: Noni Madueke – 6.5/10
Madueke made one promising run with the ball, but there was no goal for him.

He struggled to catch the eye in the final third and was substituted early in the second half.

Martinelli made one good chance in the final third but never looked like he would score.
