Juventus visit Atalanta on Saturday night in a crucial Serie A match in the race for a Champions League placement.
Three starters potentially leaving Juventus without Champions League football
The Bianconeri have just confirmed Luciano Spalletti’s contract extension until June 2028, but are still fighting for a top-four finish, sitting fifth, one point below Como.
The lack of Champions League football next season would not only affect their transfer budget for new signings but also force the club to sell some of their stars to balance the books.
According to Gazzetta, France international Thuram would be one of the players potentially leaving as the 25-year-old moved to Turin for just €20m two years ago and has a low depreciation cost on the balance sheet.
The same is true of Thuram’s compatriot Kalulu, who has joined Juventus from Milan for €17.3m.
Gazzetta confirms that Juventus would also be forced to listen to offers for Bremer. Back in March, Tuttosport claimed that the Brazilian centre-back has a €60m price tag for next summer.
