The Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee, in collaboration with the Play Equity Fund, is pleased to announce the Grow the Game of Soccer Clinic and Celebration Event, taking place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Galaxy Park in Carson. As part of the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee’s legacy program leading up to FIFA World Cup 2026™, the Grow the Game of Soccer Clinic Series brings together partners including the LA Galaxy, Cal South, and the Center for Healing and Justice through Sport (CHJS) to create meaningful opportunities for Angelenos and use the spotlight of the world’s largest single-sport event to inspire the next generation of soccer players, coaches, and referees across the region. This free, festival-style event will unite the soccer community through a dynamic afternoon of on-field programming tailored to their role in the game, while sharing in a day focused on learning, connection, and inspiring a lifelong love
Who Can Participate – Youth Players (Ages 6–12): Participants will engage in fun, age-appropriate training sessions designed to build skills, confidence, and joy for the game. Grassroots Coaches: Coaches will take part in educational, on-field learning that introduces a modern training approach centered on positive youth development and long-term growth. Referees: Referees will participate in guided learning experiences that support their development, with an emphasis on understanding the game, building confidence, and recognizing their important role in fostering a positive soccer environment.
