Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti had picked Wesley to be in the starting XI for last night’s 2-1 friendly defeat to France and he was replaced by Roger Ibanez at the 71st minute.
However, both Wesley and Raphinha felt pain in the back of their right thighs during the match.

A statement on the official Federation website confirms that tests showed muscular injuries and had been released home to undergo treatment with their respective clubs.
No other athletes have been called up to replace them ahead of the next scheduled friendly game against Croatia on Tuesday night.
Wesley has impressed since making the move to Roma over the summer, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 35 competitive games.
He has struggled with some minor muscular injuries this term, most recently in December, so it remains to be seen how bad this latest setback is.
