Gillette Stadium becomes the stage this Thursday, March 26, for a friendly that feels like an early final. Brazil and France face off in the last international break before the 2026 World Cup, a matchup that will help gauge the ambitions of both giants. For Carlo Ancelotti, it is the “ultimate test” after an inconsistent qualifying campaign, as he looks to bounce back from the recent defeat in Bolivia and show that the “Seleção” is ready for the big event.
On the French side, Didier Deschamps faces the challenge of getting Kylian Mbappé back up to speed. The Real Madrid forward returns after a month out with knee problems, aiming to regain his competitive rhythm. In addition, all eyes are on young Endrick, who, after a brilliant spell at Lyon, is looking to establish himself under Ancelotti. It is a clash of heavyweights in which the World Cup already begins to take shape.
